Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's excellent location, particularly its proximity to Lincoln Castle, with some rooms offering direct views. The spacious suites are a highlight, often featuring separate lounge areas and large bathrooms, and some guests have noted that the decor in certain areas is somewhat dated. Continental breakfast is included, and the option to order hot food from Stokes café provides a delightful addition. Many have enjoyed the proximity to nearby restaurants and pubs, like the Ole Ole tapas bar and 'the Victoria'.
